The tourist bus in which he was travelling was carrying 58 passengers. It has been reported that the bus was returning from the Swiss Alps when the accident took place. The accident claimed the lives of 22 children and 6 adults.

Sebastian had a Belgian mother and a British father. Whilst he was away on the ski holiday, he wrote to his parents on a blog that the holiday destination was great and that he had learned to ski well.

It has been revealed that Sebastian went to a North London school before the family moved to Belgium.

According to reports, 24 children were also injured in the collision.

The children on the bus were mostly aged 12. They were from two different schools.

On Wednesday, a press conference was held in which three different theories were put forward regarding the cause of the accident. Firstly, there could have been technical issues with the coach. Secondly, the driver of the coach had a health problem and he lost control of the bus. Thirdly, it was error on the part of the driver.

Sebastian’s parents lived in North London previously. They arrived in Switzerland as soon as they received the news of the accident.

It is reported that the bus plunged into the canal because the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid a collision.

According to the Indian police, there are reports of 16 deaths and 18 injuries.

Almost 40 students were returning home from school. The accident took place in Khammam district which is about 250km east of Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister of the State, Kiran Kumar Reddy was really shocked about the incident and ordered the police to investigate the case. The local police officials confirmed that 18 students had sustained injuries and they have been admitted in hospital.

Police officials with the help of local villagers launched relief and rescue operations.
